My talk at Design Interest, Newcastle
Design Interest is a new community which brings designers in the region a bit closer together. It’s intended to bring people in on a social level rather than a corporate one and also to provide a practical peer group for critique and improvement. So feel free to come along to the next event in Newcastle and follow Design Interest on Twitter for their newest dates, speakers and updates.
Now about my talk, I was asked by the organisers to give a short talk to their creative community about what I do. Based on their backgrounds in graphic, web design and programming I thought it would be of interest to give them an insight into the new technologies, more specifically 3D printing, that inspire me. Obviously not all of my work is 3D printed nor is it necessarily about 3d printing but I still wish I could print off my products and prototypes in my own studio on my own small printer whenever I need them. Hopefully some day soon...
Anyway, here now my talk titled 3D FABrications:
